The Altelix NF141208VFHA1 Heated and Fan Cooled Weatherproof NEMA Enclosure with 120VAC Power and Aluminum Equipment Plate is ideal for protecting equipment from harsh environments and tampering. This rugged NEMA box is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. It features a stainless steel continuous door hinge and stainless steel latches with provision for padlocks. The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors. Power: This configuration consists of the vented fiberglass NEMA enclosure with hinged lid and a 2.5mm thick finished aluminum plate with two pre-wired 120VAC 20A surge-protected power outlets. A terminal strip and ground lug are provided for simplified wiring on-site. One 1/2" liquid-tight gland is provided for the AC supply along with two cable glands for low voltage wiring. Aluminum Equipment Plate: The enclosure and plate can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements. In addition the mounting plate features a number of pre-drilled hole patterns for mounting popular wireless access points without any modifications. Heater: Ideal for cold environments, this model also features a thermostat controlled 200W heating system. The heater turns on when the internal temperature reaches 43°F (6°C) and turns off when it rises to 59°F (15°C). The heater is situated below the mounting plate and wired internally so it does not interfere with user installed equipment or require the use of the AC outlets. Cooling Fan Ventilation: This unit features dual 4" vents and a thermostat controlled cooling fan. The low noise, high airflow fan helps maintain lower internal temperatures. The fan turns on when the internal temperature reaches 100°F (38°C) and turns off when it drops to 79°F (26°C). The fan is wired internally so it does not require the use of the AC outlets leaving them available for internal equipment use. Rain shrouds on the front door keep rain water from entering the enclosure, and the internal aluminum mesh filters are removable for cleaning. Dual fans are also available by request.
Mounting: Four removable stainless steel mounting feet are included so that the enclosure can be securely mounted to a wall or other structure. An optional pole mounting kit (model NMK-003) is also available. Features • Fiberglass Reinforced
